NEW QUALIFYING SYSTEM FOR SUMMER 09!! PLEASE READ

  1. Qualifying will be on the day of the race, also known as live qualifying. Qualifying will be 5 laps, with the fastest lap being the time you are credited with. Ties are broken by whoever is higher in points. If both are tied in points, it goes to whoever qualified first.
  2. The heat races will be lined up by the order you qualified (updated 7/13/09)
  3. The A Main will be lined up by heat race results straight up with no invert.
  4. The 4 transfers from the B Main (s) will be lined up according to how they finished in the b main from 7th-10th.
  5. In the event that there are any non qualifiers for the event will be starting behind the people who did qualify.
  6. With this new qualifying system there will be no dash this year.

Substitution rule

Each driver is allowed to use two subs per season. However, the sub you use in one race may not be the one you are permitted to use for the 2nd race. If you will be using a sub for a race please let us know beforehand so we can know who is to get the points.

Race Format

Here is how we will run the races, and the rules for competing

RULES

  1. Race clean. This means do not wreck someone purposefully, and if you get hit do not retaliate. We wil handle any problems if you get wrecked and we will get every side of the story as available.
  2. Do not cheat. Do not do anything that is not readily available to the racers you are competing against. Also, you may not hypershift or edit your setups in notepad if you want to race with us. Your final gear is not permitted to go below 460, no is your 2nd permitted to go below 65
  3. Be courteous and nice to your fellow competitors.

 FORMAT

Hot Laps:

We will run two (2) three lap hot lap sessions prior to each heat race, and a main. This number will be adjusted if necessary.

Restart Rule:

For the heat races and B Main, the restart rule will be 2 RESTARTS WITHIN LAP 1.

For the A Main, the restart rule will change to 3 restarts within lap 1.

Heat Races:
All heat races will be 10 laps.

There will usually be 2 or 3 heats.

IF there are only two, the top 3 finishers will transfer to the A Main for. Everyone not in the top 3 will be in a b main. The top 4 drivers from the B Main will transfer. IF for some reason there are two b mains, the top 2 will transfer.

If there are 3 heats, the top 2 will transfer to the A Main. Everyone else will go to the b main(s). The top 4 drivers from the B Main will transfer. IF there are two b mains, the top 2 will transfer.

 For anymore than 3 heats, the top 2 will transfer and 2 b mains will be ran with the winners transfering
